USDOT RAISE Grant Program

US DOT’s Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) program funds eligible surface transportation projects that will have a significant local or regional impact that advance safety, equity, climate, and sustainability. RAISE provides funding to any public entity, including municipalities, counties, and tribal governments. Eligible projects include capital projects and planning projects. 84% of current RAISE grants are for bicycle, pedestrian, or transit projects. If you were involved in an Active Transportation Infrastructure Investment (ATIIP) project that was not funded, you may be able to apply for the same project under RAISE. Application Deadline: January 30, 2025.
